CrossFit is not about just working out. It's about mental toughness. It's about overcoming your fears and insecurities and coming out stronger and feeling more alive! Mainly because of labored breathing and adrenaline pumping in your veins. Haha!
What I love about CrossFit though is that you're competing with yourself and not with anyone else. Everyone else is cheering you on and wanting you to beat your personal best. Everyone is a friend and a supporter. When we signed up 8 months ago, it was with the sole intention of having abs (haha!) but I gained so much more. So maybe I still don't have those abs but I'm stronger, fitter and a happier person because of it. Happy me means less problems for Manny.
